Who We Are
A family of 4 with an acreage and a dream of sustainably nourishing our family and community.
Established and growing since June 2024.

The dream of farm and acreage life has followed our family for years, but the physical reality finally took shape after a life-changing leap of faith. After a decade spent in a cookie-cutter neighbourhood and a new-build home in the city of Edmonton, we knew in our hearts that we were ready for something different — more space, more connection, more life.
What began as a simple curiosity in gourmet mushroom cultivation quickly grew into something far more meaningful. We fell in love not only with the mushrooms themselves, but with the rhythm of growing, creating, and working closely with the earth. Along the way, our long-standing love of baking, preserving, and quality food naturally found its place here too. It's been here with our family for many years, but now, we are proud to be able to share it with you.
Life at Fungi Fresh Acres is shaped by thriving gardens, busy kitchens, a flock of chickens, and an ever-evolving list of projects that keep our hands and hearts full. Abundance from the land inspires the small-batch jams, pickles, baked goods, and seasonal creations that have become beloved by our customers and community.
Our most recent adventure led us into beekeeping — an experience that deepened our appreciation for the delicate balance of nature and the remarkable work of the bees. From this came our honey, infused honeys, and handcrafted self-care products. After all, if you’ve grown fiery Ghost peppers, combining them with your own honey simply feels like the right thing to do.
As two parents raising two incredible, ever-growing boys, we set out to build more than a farm. We hoped to create a life rooted in simplicity, creativity, hard work, and joy — a place that reflects our values and something we are proud to share.
Fungi Fresh Acres is, at its heart, a family story. A story of learning, experimenting, laughing, and growing. The baking and preserves may have gained their own loyal following, but in many ways, we are only just getting started.
